Dr. Willard Harley, Jr. is probably best known for his best selling book “His Needs Her Needs:  Building an Affair-Proof Marriage” which was first published as support material for his marriage counseling program back in 1986.  Within 3 years it became a best seller and marriage counselors used it as a basic reference for marriage counseling.  Prior to this, he had built up  his practice to becoming one of the largest mental health clinics in Minnesota (32 locations) with over 100 psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, & chemical dependency counselors who provided a full range of mental health services.  Dr. Bill and Joyce Harley, married for 54 years, now host a daily call-in radio show “Marriage-Builders Radio” and it can also be heard on the internet.  They live in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and have two adult children, who work with them as marriage coaches, and four grandchildren.
